RATON RACING RETURNS TO INTERNATIONAL GT AIMING AT THE AM VICTORY IN THE 24 HOURS OF SPA
Team Raton Racing returns to action. After changing its 2020 programs due to pandemic impact, the squad led by Roberto Tanca is set for the most important European GT event, fielding a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo car in the next edition of 24 Hours of Spa scheduled on 24th/25th October.
In Belgium team Raton Racing will have the strong and consolidated Italian/Swiss duo Stefano Costantini and Christoph Lenz, who claimed a podium finish in 2018 and the last year as they secured respectively a second and third position.
Frenchman Michael Petit – who already has five entries in the endurance Belgian race – and the other Silver racing driver Lucas Mauron from Switzerland, will pair Costantini and Lenz. Mauron, who turned 22 last May, will take part in the 24 Hours of Spa for the second consecutive year after making his debut in 2019.
“After two podiums in a row, we certainly aim at the victory”, Roberto Tanca commented. “We have a strong Silver who knows the car very well, plus three more experienced and very fast drivers. We definitely make our return to GT, looking forward a full commitment in 2021.”
Currently the 24 Hours of Spa has 59 entries. The Bronze Test will kick-off the event on Tusday. Free practice and qualifying are scheduled on Thursday. The race will start on Saturday at 15:30, live covered at http://www.gt-world-challenge-europe.com.
