Raton Racing by Target heads to Hockenheim with a double goal. At the German venue, the Italian team aims high with both crews this coming weekend (24/25/26 May) as the International GT Open reaches the second of seven rounds, following the good performance showed at the Le Castellet opener on late April.
In addition of this, the team will try to extend the PRO-AM lead with Liang Jiatong and Raffaele Giammaria, who started their season in France taking a victory and a sixth position in their class and now have six points over the second places.
At the Hockenheim track Alberto Di Folco and Christoph Lenz will share another backed-OPPO Lamborghini Huracán GT3 fielded by Raton Racing by Target. The Italian driver only two weeks ago made his return to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, taking two victory in his category and a second overall position. In the GT Open Championship round of Paul Ricard, Di Folco set the quickest lap in Race 2 to finish with Lenz just at the edge of the top 10. The pair now looks for more points and a podium finish.
Friday’s free practice sessions kick off the weekend. The 20-minute Qualifying 1 begins on Saturday at 11.25, followed by Race 1 (70 minutes) at 16.30, with the live streaming at gtopen.net. Qualifying 2 gets underway on Saturday at 9.35. Race 2 (60 minutes) will start at 14, live streamed at the Championship’s official website.
