JASON BELL TO TACKLE VIRGINIA INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY THIS WEEKEND
Floridian and Audi Sport customer racing driver Jason Bell will be competing in his next Pirelli World Challenge Series event this coming weekend at Virginia International Raceway (VIR). Traveling to Alton, Virginia and back for another round with M1 GT Racing, Bell will once again enter the GTSA division and is excited to get back to the VIR facility, one of his favorite tracks on the 2018 calendar.
“VIR is one of my all-time favorite tracks. I have been out of the seat for a couple of weeks but am anxious to get back in it and am ready to work hard with M1 GT Racing,” explained Bell. “We have had some success to date in 2018, but I am bound and determined to stand on the podium in Virginia. I have a great team that pushes me every step of the way and I look to make them and all of my partners proud.”
At VIR, Bell will be back behind the wheel of his M1 GT Racing prepared Audi R8 GT4. After a promising start to the season at the St. Petersburg and Circuit of the Americas events, the Audi driver is aiming for a solid weekend with positive results in Virginia. Bell and M1 GT Racing consistently push forward and have been working hard during the off weeks to prepare and get more familiar and acclimated to their new car.
Bell continued, “I am extremely thankful for the guys on the team. They have been set on helping me achieve my goals. We work hard on the weekends and after a couple off to recharge, I think everyone is ready to get back to work. We will be pushing hard as a team at each and every event and see where that takes as as we move on in the season.”
