M1 GT Racing and their Audi R8 LMS GT4  will hit the track again this weekend at the fast and flowing, yet challenging Virginia International Raceway (VIR). Traveling to Alton, Virginia, the Florida based team will enter Jason Bell in the Pirelli World Challenge program and after a couple of weekends off, the team is ready to get back to the track in their quest for victory.

“We are excited to be back on the track next weekend with Jason,” expressed Remi Lanteigne. “The time off has given the entire team and I some extra time to go over our Audi and make sure that we are 100% prepared for the weekend. The crew is ready to work hard and we are putting 100% of our effort behind Jason and his quest for race wins and podium results.”

Competing in the GTSA class, M1 GT Racing and Jason Bell have been consistent top-ten runners through the first two event weekends of 2018.

Lanteigne continued, “We had very limited testing before the start of the season and took some time during the first two events to learn the in’s and out’s of our GT4. Jason has continually improved as a driver and as a team, we are really hitting our stride. I am very confident entering VIR and believe we have a real shot to come out on top.”

Jason Bell added, “M1 GT Racing is a great team with very high team moral and some of the hardest working crew in the paddock. I am happy with their program and how smooth the race weekends have gone, even though we have had some very late nights at the track. I am ready to tackle this weekend at VIR with a very positive mindset.”

M1 GT Racing will kick off the weekend’s festivities on Thursday with the unofficial Promoters Test Day. Friday will see a pair of practice sessions before Saturday and Sunday’s wheel-to-wheel action. Be sure to follow along via the Pirelli World Challenge website (www.World-Challenge.com)
