SRO Motorsports Group has revealed the provisional dates for the 2020 GT4 European Series. The calendar, with six rounds in six different European countries, was announced during the annual press conference at the Total 24 Hours of Spa.
The GT4 European Series returns to the United Kingdom, with Silverstone in place of Brands Hatch on the calendar. The home of British Motor Racing will host the opening round of the season in 2020. It will the first time since 2016 the GT4 European Series will race at the Northamptonshire circuit.
Circuit Paul Ricard then hosts the second round of the season on May 29-31, before the series heads to the Netherlands for a race weekend at the challenging Zandvoort circuit. The third round at the Dutch venue is set to take place on the last weekend in June.
In July, the GT4 European Series will travel to Spa-Francorchamps, where it will rejoin the support bill at the Total 24 Hours of Spa. Nürburgring and Budapest will host the final two rounds of the 2020 season in September, after a short summer break in August.

We are pleased to announce this calendar and are proud to return Spa-Francorchamps, where we will be supporting the Total 24 Hours. We also believe the 2020 calendar will relieve pressure on teams, as these dates gives them more time between race weekends.”
“In order to give interested teams even more time to plan their season, we have also decided to open the entry process earlier than usual. From December we will be accepting entries for the 2020 campaign and we will accept them on a first-come-first-served basis.”
