NOBAUYA YAMANAKA TO DEBUT AT LE MANS IN THE ROAD TO LE MANS RACE AS HIS JOURNEY TO THE 24 HOURS CONTINUES
Nobuya (Nobu) Yamanaka will make the exciting step of racing at the legendary Le Sarthe racetrack in Le Mans, when he takes to the circuit in a field of 50 LMP3 and GT3 cars, in support of this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The race will be a great experience for Nobuya who has been campaigning his LMP3 in Asia and Europe over the last 12 months; in preparation for a hopeful entry to the Le Mans 24 hours in 2020.
Entry to the Road to Le Mans support race is an achievement for the Japanese driver, with the events entry highly sought-after. The competition consists of two one-hour races that take place on Thursday and Saturday prior to the start of the main event, with a huge crowd of race fans watching it unfold.
Nobuya will once again team up with James Littlejohn, with each driver taking the start for a race each.
“I am very excited about taking part in my first race at Le Mans,” said Nobuya. “It has long been my dream to take part in the Le Mans 24 hours and coming here to witness the main race and actually get to compete here in the Road to Le Mans Race is a great opportunity to gain experience, and to get more excited about what hopefully the future holds for me.”
