After making the switch to the Global Motorsports Group (GMG) race team just before the last event at Lime Rock Park, Jason Bell heads north to Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin for the next rounds of the 2018 Pirelli World Challenge program. Piloting an Audi R8 GT4 LMS, Bell will look to get back to his podium winning ways from the beginning of the season as he becomes more accustomed to his new outfit.

“Lime Rock was a great start with my new team as we literally got started together a day or two before our first on track session,” explained Bell. “Working throughout the weekend with new personnel, new teammates and a new way of doing things, I was becoming more comfortable with each passing session and look forward to the second event this weekend.”

Taking on the 14 corner, 4.014-mile iconic circuit this weekend, Bell currently sits seventh in the 2018 PWC GTSA championship chase after claiming the fifth position in the overall series points battle during the 2017 racing season.

Bell added, “I have had some bad luck in 2018 and it has really hindered some of my results. A tire puncture that took me out of one race, a pit lane time penalty that took me out of contention on another and some other mishaps have taken a lot of points away that I should have had. The last event at Lime Rock was a breath of fresh air and I am confident heading to Road America this weekend.”

Kicking off this coming Friday with three practice/test sessions, Saturday morning will be reserved for a qualifying run before wheel-to-wheel action for race one commences that afternoon. Race two will take place Sunday after the conclusion of the headline Verizon IndyCar Series event in what proves to be Road America’s busiest weekend of the season.

Jason Bell would like to thank his partners for their continued support. A special thanks to Continental Benefits, Osteria, Frost NYC, Gridsport, Reeves Motorsports, Audi of Tampa and Global Motorsports Group.
