DENVER, N.C. – Mustang Sampling will continue as the primary sponsor of Action Express Racing’s No. 5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac DPi-V.R in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Prototype division.
Mustang Sampling, LLC is the innovator of Analytically Accurate solutions within sample conditioning systems, and strives to provide the best measurement and control provider of analytically accurate solutions to the Natural Gas, Natural Gas Liquids and Liquefied Natural Gas industries.
Mustang Sampling joined Action Express ahead of the 2015 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, helping to fuel the success that saw the group secure the IMSA team and driver championships for the second season running.
The collaboration has now produced four consecutive (2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017) Tequila Patron Endurance Cup titles as the team prepares for the new IMSA campaign.
The driver roster for the No. 5 Mustang Sampling Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R will once again feature Joao Barbosa, Filipe Albuquerque and Christian Fittipaldi, who has moved to the endurance event line up as he takes on a new role with the team as sporting director.
