H.R. Owen Ferrari is celebrating a historic Ferrari Challenge Pirelli AM. championship win in style, returning the victorious 488 Challenge car to London. Driven by H.R. Owen Ferrari GB driver, Chris Froggatt, to ten victories across Europe’s most famous circuits, the Challenge car settled into its new role, turning heads in London’s Knightsbridge.
The 488 Challenge recently returned to the UK from the Ferrari Challenge final in Monza during November, where Froggatt secured a double victory, extending his lead in the overall Pirelli Am. title. Froggatt had already clinched the title one race weekend earlier, in Barcelona, with an unassailable gap of more than 100 points to his nearest competitor.
Following its whistle-stop tour of London, the 488 Challenge car was driven to a display in the window of the H.R. Owen Ferrari Atelier in Knightsbridge, alongside the Pirelli Am. Championship Trophy.
H.R. Owen Ferrari supports a number of its customers in Ferrari Challenge series across Europe, including the new Ferrari Challenge UK Series for 2019. It marks the first time in history that Ferrari has offered a one-make racing series dedicated to a single market outside of Italy. Drivers will be racing at Britain’s most famous circuits, including Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Snetterton and Croft.
H.R. Owen Ferrari was awarded Global Ferrari Dealer of the Year in 2016 and offers Europe’s largest Ferrari Technical Centre, recently awarded Classiche status. It also runs the only Ferrari-approved boutique of its kind, the ‘Atelier’ in Knightsbridge.
