The countdown to the 61st edition of 24 Hours of Daytona is coming to an end as Cetilar Racing will take part for the third year in a row in the most famous American endurance race that will start tomorrow – Saturday 28th – at 13:40 local time.
The only all-Italian team on the grid of the first round of the Michelin Endurance Cup IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship 2023, is set to field the brand-new #47 Ferrari 296 technically supported by AF Corse.
Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto, Antonio Fuoco and the fourth man Alessandro Balzan will start from the fifth row in the GTD class after finishing ninth in the Roar before the 24 held last week.
“We are very excited to take part in the 24 Hours of Daytona this year”, Roberto Lacorte commented. “It is a historic edition that marks the beginning of a new era with the Lmdh debut and a number of brand-new GT3 cars like our Ferrari 296. We are proud to drive it at its first ever race, although it means a huge effort in terms of development.”
