Despite this is its fourth 24 Hours of Le Mans, team Cetilar Racing is thrilled to enter one more time the legendary race. The only all-Italian squad in the Sport category – team, drivers and car – marks its fourth consecutive participation since 2017, when it made its debut with Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Andrea Belicchi ninth overall over 60 cars and seventh of their class in the #47 Dallara LMP2.

This coming weekend, 19th/20th September, the 24 Hours of Le Mans celebrates the 88th edition and will be held for the first time without public, keeping however same glamour for drivers and fans.

A total of 1047 race laps and 14282,133 kms were completed in the last years at circuit of La Sarthe by Cetilar Racing, with the Lacorte, Sergnagiotto and Belicchi trio. The latter absent in 2018, as former F1 racer Felipe Nasr replaced him, before the return in 2019 that marked his tenth 24H.

Talking about milestones, this is the first FIA WEC season for Cetilar Racing, that made the debut in the series one year ago at Silverstone, first of the 2019-2020 races, claiming the P6 of category.

The Italian team that field since the last year an AF Corse-run car, secured its best position on mid August in the recent 6 Hours of Spa, the sixth and third last round of the championship ahead of Le Mans and the 8 Hours of Bahrain scheduled for next November. In Belgium Lacorte, Sernagiotto and Belicchi claimed the eight overall position and the fifth of category.

The Cetilar Racing’s car will be the only Dallara over 24 LMP2 entrants.

Action at Le Mans fires up on Thursday at 5pm with the two three-hour free practice sessions since 10am and 2pm. On same day, the 45-minute qualifying is scheduled since 5:15pm, with another free practice session of 4 hours since 8pm. A one-hour free practice session is also scheduled on Friday at 10am, while the Hyperpole will start at 11:30am. The warm-up will kick-off Saturday from 10:30 to 10:45. The 24 Hours of Le Mans will start at 2.30 pm.
