Following a double top-ten at the season opener in Barcelona, Nielsen Racing is back in action this coming weekend at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria. Set amid the Styrian mountains, this short 4.318km circuit is always a favourite for the teams.
The last ELMS event in Austria in 2018 saw Nielsen Racing take the runner-up position with Colin, Alex Kapadia, and Christian Olsen. This year there are 16 LMP3s in action in Sunday’s four-hour challenge with the team aiming to build on the eight points secured in Spain.

British, Asian LMP3 Champions and 2019 Team of the Year, Northamptonshire-based Nielsen Racing returns to the European Le Mans Series for its fourth season. The ELMS, inspired by the 24 Hours of Le Mans, is considered the pinnacle of LMP3 championships around the world and features six rounds at Europe’s finest and most challenging circuits.

Round 2 of the 2021 European Le Mans Series will see a return to the Red Bull Ring in Austria for the first time since 2018, where Nielsen Racing secured a fine second position. With eight points on the board from Barcelona, the team are looking forward to another strong showing.
