Simon Sikes Announces F2000 Program

After a fairly uneventful six month offseason, I am proud to announce that I am back with Primus Racing for a full F2000 Season! Last week I completed my first test in an F2000 car at Roebling Road. Yesterday, I just wrapped up the final preseason testing at VIR before my first race at Road Atlanta this weekend. Prior to the last week, I hadn’t been in a car since October where I wrapped up the end of 2017 with an F1600 race in New Jersey. Since then I have been working to make a plan for this year, and fortunately, I’ve found myself in a really great situation.

With the first of 7 events beginning tomorrow, I’ll compete alongside Team USA Scholarship winner Aaron Jeansonne in our Primus Racing F2000 cars. We will begin practice tomorrow and finish the day eight eh first qualifying session of 2018. Sunday, we have another qualifying session and two races. I’m extremely happy to be working with Primus Racing this season. Jon Baytos, Derich Cutshaw, and Nick Denny are the awesome guys that make up the team. After four good days of testing with the team, I think we are a force to be reckoned with this weekend. I’ll be posting the results throughout he weekend. Wish me luck!
