Q1 report:

Hamilton takes pole by going thru the small chicane without sliding out and keeping the car straight for the best grip.

Cars lining up behind Verstappen to try and get the 2 last laps in before the end of Qualifying.

Red flagged due to Ricciardo Crashing, runining fast laps of raikkonen, Vettel, Massa and Hamilton. Clock stopped at 3.33 minutes Verstappen manneged to jsut cross the start finish line before the sutarts brought out the red flags.

Drivers going on a warm up lap before there first flying lap trying to put heat in the tires. All of the drivers now can put the power down in the small shicane now having removed the curb due to yesturdays accident .

Stroll Doing an mazing job qualifying in 7th in front of his teammate Massa down in 8th.

Vettel hiting troubles in the last dash lap down in 4th

Q2 report:

Last year’s pole time was 1:42.758 by Rosberg, these new cars are well past that now with Hamilton’s 1:41.275
Lance stroll in 7th, surprises by beating his teammate Massa down in 9th with a very lucky lap managing to just kiss the wall and saving the car .

Alonso not to sure about the performance and reliability of the version 3 motor of Honda Having not seen an improvement but pointing out that the crashes and accidents can change the hole race here in Baku.
