Rain stops play at the Silverstone 500 qualifying. Attempts were made to get qualifying underway for the event but with no avail.
The first red flag was brought as 2 Mclarens from Greystone and Optimum motorsport were left in the grass after an incident coming out a chapel.
The session continued once again but was red flagged once again as this time Andrew Howard onboard the Beechdean Aston Martin had nosed into the wall after aquaplaning coming out of chapel once again.
The sessions were suspended to begin with but with further inspections and weather still coming in, qualifying was officially abandoned.
