Two XFINITY Series Crew Chiefs Suspended

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – NASCAR has suspended a pair of NASCAR XFINITY Series crew chiefs for infractions during the Zippo 200 at The Glen on Saturday at Watkins Glen Int’l.
Dave Elenz, crew chief on the No. 9 Chevrolet driven by William Byron, has been suspended one race after the No. 9 failed post-race rear body inspection heights as part of an L1-level penalty. Elenz has also been fined $10,000 and the team also lost 10 driver and owner points.
Steven Lane, crew chief on the No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota driven by Dakoda Armstrong, has been suspended three races by NASCAR when the No. 28 failed overall vehicle weight. No. 28 car chief Rick Markle has also been suspended three races.
