ThorSport Inks Deal With Ford Performance

SANDUSKY, Ohio – ThorSport Racing will field Ford entries in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series as part of a multi-year deal with Ford Performance beginning this season.

“With 23 years in the NCWTS, we look forward to our new partnership with Ford Performance in NASCAR,” said team owner Duke Thorson. “Our pursuit of wins and championships remains at the forefront of our objectives.”

“We’re excited that ThorSport Racing has decided to switch to a F-Series truck for the 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,” said Mark Rushbrook, global director, Ford Performance Motorsports. “ThorSport is a proven championship-level team in the series, and we look forward to providing them the aero and simulation technical support that will ensure they remain at the top level of the Truck Series.”

ThorSport Racing announced on Jan. 16 they would not renew their contract with Toyota after six seasons. ThorSport will be the only full-time Ford team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series following the closure of Brad Keselowski Racing.

Matt Crafton will return to ThorSport Racing for his 14th consecutive season and will continue his partnership with Menards. The rest of the ThorSport Racing driver and sponsor lineup will be announced at a later date.
