COOL Racing’s Jakobsen, Miyata and Flux outclassed the field to take the win at the seasons opening round.
The #37 Oreca Gibson LMP2 took the battle and ran with it to take the win at the 4 hours of Barcelona, #25 Algarve Pro Racing followed by the #22 United Autosport completed the podium.
LMP2 Pro/AM saw the honours go the way of the #83 AF Corse Oreca in the Hans of Francois Perrodo, Alessio Rovera and Matthieu Vaxiviere.
The first ever LMGT3 win in ELMS looked to be going the way of the Iron Dames Porsche but with 45 minutes remaining Michelle Gatting was forced to pull in at pit exit with an issue to retire the car.
Instead Formula Racing take the first LMGT3 win in the Ferrari 296 GT3 and they also take their first win in 9 years in the ELMS.
Finally LMP3, Team Virage also took their first ELMS victory with the #8 machine in the hands of Gillian Henrion, Julien Gerbi and Bernardo Pinheiro.
