CREVENTIC PRESENTS CALENDARS FOR 2019 WITH EVENTS IN SEVEN COUNTRIES ACROSS THREE CONTINENTS

Dutch race organisers and promoters CREVENTIC used the final round of its 2018 European Championship season at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in the Belgian Ardennes to present the race calendars for 2019 for its various series and championships. With the 24H EUROPEAN Championship and the 24H Championship of the CONTINENTS, both for the GT and TCE divisions, the 24H PROTO Championship with six-hour races, the 24H MIDDLE EAST Championship and TCR Middle East, CREVENTIC will be organising races in seven countries across three continents. Of course, all series are ‘powered by Hankook’ to testify the long-standing partnership between the premium tyre manufacturer and the Dutch race organisation.

TEN DRIVERS TO DO BATTLE FOR GT4 SPRINT CUP EUROPE HONOURS AT HOCKENHEIM

This weekend some of the fastest drivers in Europe will compete in the GT4 Sprint Cup Europe at the 4,575 km Hockenheimring. A total of ten drivers from six different countries, representing six different teams and four manufacturers will compete for outright honours in the last race of the GT4 season in Europe, which takes place during the DTM final weekend. Porsche, BMW and Mercedes hope to claim victory on their home soil, with outsider Ginetta aiming to surprise the German manufacturers.

MERCEDES-AMG CUSTOMER RACING WITH GOOD TITLE PERSPECTIVES IN IMSA FINALE AT ROAD ATLANTA

From 10-13 October, the 21st running of the ‘Petit Le Mans’ race will be held in Braselton, Georgia. The famous ten-hour race at the Road Atlanta circuit is the traditional conclusion of the hard-fought North American IMSA series. In the GTD class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, two Mercedes-AMG GT3 will be competing in the finale. The car with starting number 33 run by Mercedes-AMG Team Riley Motorsports will have Ben Keating (USA), Jeroen Bleekemolen (NED) and Luca Stolz (GER) as its drivers. Prior to the final race, the trio is leading the separate endurance standings, the Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup, and has excellent chances of defending the title and scoring the ‘triple’ with drivers’, teams’ and manufacturers’ championship wins.

ESM SEEKS TO DEFEND PETIT LE MANS WIN AT IMSA FINALE

Riding the momentum of last month’s victory at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Tequila Patrón ESM will enter the final race of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship looking to defend their 2017 Petit Le Mans victory at Road Atlanta. The 21st anniversary of the Motul Petit Le Mans will feature ten hours of racing in both the day and night, challenging man and machine to battle adversity and finish the season with a coveted endurance victory.
