WEC SERIES LEADER PORSCHE STRIVES FOR ANOTHER PODIUM FINISH WITH THE NEW 911 RSR

Porsche aims to defend its lead in the manufacturers’ classification of the FIA World Endurance Championship at round three of the season. The factory squad tackles the four-hour race in Shanghai (China) with two of the latest generation ca. 515 hp Porsche 911 RSR. After clinching a one-two at the season-opener in Silverstone (Great Britain) and a podium result at the second race at Fuji (Japan), the Porsche GT Team is now eager to perform well again at the Formula 1 circuit on the outskirts of the Chinese commercial metropolis of Shanghai. In the GTE-Am class, three customer teams field a total of six 2017-spec Porsche 911 RSR.

LAMBORGHINI ONE-TWO SECURES GOLD AND SILVER MEDALS AT INAUGURAL FIA MOTORSPORT GAMES

Lamborghini secured the gold and silver medals in the GT Cup category of the inaugural FIA Motorsport Games at the Vallelunga circuit in Italy, as Hiroshi Hamaguchi and Ukyo Sasahara claimed two out of three race wins. The Team Japan supported by FFF Racing pairing ended the weekend as overall victors, with Team Poland (supporte by Vincenzo Sospiri Racing) making it a Lamborghini one-two with the silver medal following the main race.

WAKO’S 4CR LC500 WINS THE 2019 SUPER GT CHAMPIONSHIP

The MOTEGI GT 250km RACE, Round 8 of the 2019 AUTOBACS SUPER GT series, was held at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit (lap = 4.801 km x 53 laps) in Tochigi Pref. on November 3 (Sun.). In the GT500 class, the race winner was the No. 37 KeePer TOM’S LC500 (Ryo Hirakawa/Nick Cassidy, but the season championship title went to the No. 6 WAKO’S 4CR LC500 that finished 2nd, giving drivers Kazuya Oshima and Kenta Yamashita their first Drivers Championship title. In the GT300 class, the No. 11 GAINER TANAX GT-R driven by Katsuyuki Hiranaka and Hironobu Yasuda won the race, while the Drivers Championship title went to the No. 55 ARTA NSX GT3 pair of Shinichi Takagi and Nirei Fukuzumi.

TOM’S LC500 WINS ITS SECOND SUPER GT POLE POSITION OF THE SEASON

The official qualifying for the MOTEGI GT 250km RACE, Round 8 of the 2019 AUTOBACS SUPER GT series, was held at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit (one lap 4,801m) in Tochigi Prefecture on November 2 (Sat.). In the GT500 class, the No. 36 au TOM’S LC500 driven by Kazuki Nakajima and Yuhi Sekiguchi won its second Pole Position of the season following the one in Round 3 at Suzuka. In the GT300 class, the class pole position went to the No. 720 McLaren 720S (Seji Ara/Alex Palou). This was the first PP for both Palou and the team.
