K-PAX RACING 11th AT SPA

K-PAX Racing showed both its strength and willpower, as both were tested during the 74th edition of the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa. Withstanding all the challenges presented and on GT3 racing’s biggest stage worldwide, the team completed the full 24-hour duration to an 11th place finish.

ROWE RACING SO CLOSE TO PODIUM AFTER STRONG SPA DEBUT FOR THE BMW M4 GT3

Around two hours and just a bit of luck were all that was missing from an otherwise perfect debut for the BMW M4 GT3 at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (BEL). Tyre damage to both ROWE Racing cars prevented a deserved podium finish after a superb, faultless performance. Making their Spa debut, the BMW Junior Team with Dan Harper (GBR), Max Hesse (GER) and Neil Verhagen (USA) chalked up an outstanding fifth place overall. In the #98 car, Nick Catsburg (NED), Augusto Farfus (BRA) and Nick Yelloly (GBR) battled for the lead for virtually the entire race before tyre damage put paid to their chances around 120 minutes before the finish. The trio crossed the line in sixth place.

DEBUT FOR THE NEWEST GENERATION OF THE PORSCHE 911 GT3 R

The new Porsche 911 GT3 R will be unveiled to the public at this year’s 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. From the 2023 season, Porsche customer teams can campaign the new racing vehicle in worldwide motorsport events that adhere to the GT3 regulations. The vehicle is based on the latest 992-generation 911. Compared to its predecessor, the new 911 GT3 R features a larger engine producing up to 416 kW (565 PS), a more constant aerodynamic performance and an optimised vehicle balance.

K-PAX RACING SET FOR 24 HOURS OF SPA RETURN

K-PAX Racing has made sporadic appearances across the world in its history, and while taking on the challenge of new tracks has always been a goal for the team and a clear vision of Team Owner Jim Haughey, the American brand has been recognized and beloved by fans globally since its humble beginnings. In this year’s 74th running of the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa, it will again be front-and-center to contest for one of racing’s most coveted titles on arguably the biggest GT racing stages in the world.

PORSCHE CUSTOMER TEAMS SET FOR THE 24 HOURS OF SPA

A total of 13 Porsche 911 GT3 R are entered for this year’s 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps on 30/31 July. Five of the over 368 kW (500 PS) 911 contest the pro-category and have excellent chances to score overall victory at the world’s largest GT3 endurance classic. On the occasion of the event, Porsche Motorsport unveils the latest generation of a GT3 race car for customer racing.

BMW M MOTORSPORTS RETURNS TO LE MANS WITH THE HYBRID V8

BMW M Motorsport returns to the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the 24 Hours of Le Mans (FRA) in 2024. One year after its debut season in the North American IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2023, the new BMW M Hybrid V8 will also take on the top-class opposition in the Hypercars category in the official FIA World Endurance Championship. On Monday, 25th July, the first BMW M Motorsport prototype since the legendary BMW V12 LMR completed its first laps at the roll-out in Varano de Melegari (ITA).

K-PAX RACING CURTAILS WATKINS GLEN WOES WITH A PODIUM FINISH

K-PAX Racing has long been the team to beat for many GT3 teams in the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS paddock – 11 straight races from the team’s September sweep at Watkins Glen International last season. The win streak put a target on the team, and while it has enjoyed the taste of champagne and victory at the top of the podium each event since that initial sweep, K-PAX Racing was faced with a more challenging stop at “The Glen” for Rounds 7 & 8 of the 2022 championship.
