DANIEL KEILWITZ AND MAXIME MARTIN TO DRIVE PROSPORT ASTON MARTIN IN THE ADAC GT MASTERS

The first of the two PROsport Performance driver pairings for the ADAC GT Masters 2019 has been confirmed: Aston Martin works driver Maxime Martin (32, BEL) and ex-champion Daniel Keilwitz (29, GER) will be competing for Christoph Esser’s team in one of two Aston Martin Vantage GT3s. As official race partner of Aston Martin Racing, PROsport Performance will be fielding two new Aston Martin Vantage GT3s in the ADAC GT Masters as well as two Aston Martin Vantage GT4s in the new ADAC GT4 Germany. The opening weekend of the 2019 ADAC GT Masters (27th – 29th April) will be hosted by Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.

FORMER INDIANAPOLIS 500 CHAMPION ALEXANDER ROSSI TO JOIN ACURA TEAM PENSKE DRIVER LINEUP IN 2019

Acura Team Penske announced today that IndyCar Series championship contender and 2016 Indianapolis 500 winner Alexander Rossi will join the team for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship endurance events at the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring. Rossi, a five-time race winner in the IndyCar Series, will share the No. 7 Acura ARX-05 Daytona Prototype International (Dpi) with fulltime Acura Team Penske drivers Helio Castroneves and Ricky Taylor.

EQUIPE PRE ‘63 CLASSIC RACE SERIES SET FOR BUMPER 2019

Formulated to recreate the spirit of 1950s clubman motorsport, Equipe Pre ‘63 certainly captured the imagination of drivers and spectators alike this year – its inaugural season. It features a wide spread of marques including Aston Martin, Austin-Healey, Jaguar, Lotus, MG and Morgan, and among the many immaculately-prepared cars already to contest the series are a number of genuine ex-works examples. In addition to the Silverstone and Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuits, 2019 competitors will do battle at the perennially popular UK club venues of Donington, Oulton Park and Snetterton.

NOVA RACE 2019 MOTORSPORT SEASON TO BE FULLY FOCUSED ON THE UP-AND-COMING GT4 CLASS

Motorsport-wise 2018 was a multifaceted year for Nova Race: the Italian outfit took part to its domestic GT series as well as to the most appealing rounds of Michelin Le Mans Cup and Creventic 24h Series, jockeying amid categories as different a LMP3, GT3 and GT4. As 2019 looms, the team will go back to its origins, focusing mainly on GT4 and its fleet of G55 Ginettas, albeit the Audi R8 LMS Ultra and the LMP3 may again appear in hand-picked meetings. Once the main race programme choice was made, the team executives started to feel the relentless ‘gravity pull’ of the best GT4 showcases: the European championship and France’s FFSA GT, both run by Stefan Ratel’s SRO organization.

THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GET MOVING IN THE DESERT: BWT MUCKE MOTORSPORT IN LINE-UP FOR 2019 24-HOURS OF DUBAI

BWT Mücke Motorsport aim to move mountains in the desert! The illustrious Berlin-based team are going to contest the famous 24-Hours of Dubai for a second time. The team will fight for a top result in their kfzteile24 Audi R8 LMS at Dubai’s Autodrome with a crack squad of drivers at the wheel of their orange racing car – Audi Sport’s Markus Winkelhock, Ford works driver Stefan Mücke plus Mike David Ortmann, Ricardo Feller and Andreas Weishaupt (10th – 12th January 2019). 

SEVEN EVENTS, 76 RACES: SUPERB SUPPORT PROGRAMME FOR 2019 ADAC GT MASTERS

ADAC GT Masters with strong package of motorsport racing in 2019. The new ADAC GT4 Germany, the ADAC TCR Germany, the ADAC Formula 4 and the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland will all compete under the banner of the ADAC GT Masters next year. The programme will deviate slightly from the norm for the first two meetings only. Overall, fans have got seven events and 76 races to look forward to. Teams can enrol in any of the four ADAC series from 3rd December onwards, and the season opens on the weekend of 27th – 29th April in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. 

PAUL MILLER RACING ANNOUNCES DEPARTURE OF 2018 CHAMPION MADISON SNOW

Following an incredibly successful season in the 2018 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, GTD champion Madison Snow will not return to Paul Miller Racing in 2019 to defend his title. The young racer will leave his hobby of sports car racing to focus on his current role in the family business, a role which he has held for the last four years. Snow leaves Paul Miller Racing after three seasons with the team and co-driver Bryan Sellers. Together, Snow, Sellers, and Paul Miller Racing celebrated three wins, thirteen podiums, and twenty top-five finishes.
