THE STAGE IS SET FOR THE 2023 DTM SEASON

The DTM lines up with a top-class field in 2023. A total of 13 teams with six different manufacturers will contest the 35th season of the DTM, which will be promoted by the ADAC for the first time. Teams will go in pursuit of the title with cars from Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche when the season gets underway at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben from 26th to 28th May. Fans can look forward to new models from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche. Thanks to the ADAC, the topic of sustainability will play an important role in the DTM: from this year, all the cars will run on a sustainable fuel from Shell, which is made from 50% renewable components.

FLYING LIZARD MOTORSPORTS ANNOUNCES GT3 PORSCHE EFFORT IN GT AMERICA

After recently announcing a multi-car GT4 effort in SRO America’s GT America powered by AWS and Pirelli GT4 America race series, Flying Lizard Motorsports will also contest a full-season GT3 entry in the GT America series in 2023. Longtime Lizard driver Andy Wilzoch will return to the team after a one-year hiatus, racing the No. 46 Porsche 911 GT3 R (type 991.2). Adding to the energy of the entry will be the traditional red and silver livery so closely aligned with the California-based team’s championship-winning history.

WRIGHT MOTORSPORTS TAKES ON GT AMERICA BID WITH RETURN OF LUCK AND HEYLEN

After an exciting 2022 race season that saw the battle for the Fanatec GT World Challenge America championship title come down to the final race, Wright Motorsports will return in 2023 for another shot at clinching the top honors. Armed with the new No. 45 Porsche 911 GT3 R (type 992), drivers Charlie Luck and Jan Heylen will return for a second chance at the Pro/Am class title in the sports car racing series.

FLYING LIZARD RETURNS TO LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO NORTH AMERICA WITH EXPANDED EFFORT

Following a thrilling championship-winning debut in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America in 2022, Flying Lizard Motorsports will return this year for its sophomore season in the series with an expanded four-car Huracán Super Trofeo Evo2 effort. Tom Tait will be back in the red and green No. 64 Emerald Center entry, and LB Cup Champion Slade Stewart will advance to the Pro/Am class with Andy Lee, racing the No. 14 pink unicorn Lamborghini. Longtime Lizards Chris Bellomo and Johannes van Overbeek will team up in a singular entry in the No. 68, and Paul Nemschoff and Marc Miller will round out the team’s lineup, racing together in the Pro/Am class.

PORSCHE ANNOUNCES 2023 PORSCHE CARRERA CUP NORTH AMERICA SCHEDULE

Porsche Motorsport North America is set to contest its most dynamic Porsche Carrera Cup North America season to date. The premier one-make race series in the United States and Canada will be renamed the Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America while also expanding its stage in 2023. The Carrera Cup North America will join Formula 1® twice, NASCAR once and the IMSA/IndyCar doubleheader at Long Beach in the upcoming season. These marquee events come in addition to three of IMSA’s most popular rounds. Highlighting the calendar will be the championship’s appearance at the Porsche Rennsport Reunion VII in Monterey, California. Entering its third season, Porsche and the International Motorsports Association (IMSA) signed a continuing alliance with North America’s top road racing organizer to remain the official sanctioning partner for Carrera Cup North America on this continent. Eight event weekends will host 16, 40-minute rounds of the all-Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car championship starting at Sebring, Florida in March. All events will be streamed live to an international audience of Porsche and motorsport enthusiasts.
