WeatherTech Racing drivers Cooper MacNeil (Hinsdale, Ill.) and Toni Vilander (Kankaanpää, Finland) are ready for a street fight in the Motor City as they head to the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix to run May 31 – June 1.

The GT4 European Series returns to the Circuit Paul Ricard this weekend for the first time since 2015. A 42-car field representing 12 constructors is set to compete in the third round of the season. At Paul Ricard, the GT4 European Series will support the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup for the second time this season.

Ford has revealed a special series of “Celebration Liveries” for the Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Ford GTs ahead of the 2019 Le Mans 24 Hours. Each of the four factory Ford GTs will bear a livery that celebrates the success of the manufacturer at Le Mans, both in the present day and during the 1960s.

Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup star Alex Au took victory for the Audi R8 LMS GT4 in the first race of the Greater Bay Area GT Cup season. The Grid Motorsport entry dominated the first of two 15-lap races on the 2.824km Guangdong International Circuit, beating seven other marques in tricky, wet conditions. An incident in race two saw Au collide with a competitor whilst leading after a front row start, eventually crossing the line in fourth.

The SUZUKA GT 300km RACE, Round 3 of the 2019 AUTOBACS SUPER GT series, was held at the Suzuka Circuit (one lap 5.807m × 52 laps) in Mie Prefecture on May 26. In the GT500 class, the No. 36 au TOM’S LC500 (Kazuki Nakajima/Yuhi Sekiguchi) went from pole position to take its first win of the season. In the GT300 class, the No. 96 K-tunes RC F GT3 (Morio Nitta/Sena Sakaguchi) continued its winning streak at Suzuka from last year, giving it its second win of the season.

The Bohemia Energy racing with Scuderia Praha Ferrari 488 GT3 (#11, Jiří Písařík / Josef Kral / Matteo Malucelli) continues its undefeated streak at the Hankook 12H BRNO with its third consecutive victory at the event. Matteo Malucelli crossed the finishing line to complete 321 laps of the 5.403km Automotodrom Brno, securing not only the team’s hat trick at the event but also its third successive win of the 2019 European Championship, following wins in Mugello and Spa-Francorchamps.

Nissan e.dams continued its strong ABB FIA Formula E championship pace today with Sebastien Buemi taking pole position and finishing second in Germany.

The Jaguar Brazil Racing driver led a front-row lockout with teammate Sérgio Jimenez finishing second. Completing the podium line-up was Team Asia New Zealand racing driver Simon Evans. Bryan Sellers, who has been dislodged as series leader, finished just off the podium in fourth.
