Audi Sport Asia Team Absolute’s Weiron Tan and Martin Rump took an impressive round seven Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia podium in the shadow of Mount Fuji, Japan. Tan’s getaway when the lights went green launched the Audi Sport Asia pair immediately into podium contention despite starting seventh on the grid. A well-managed pit stop and stint from teammate Rump swept the duo to their second series podium and highest finish of the season at Fuji International Speedway.

The first half of the 2019 Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia saw Craft-Bamboo Racing realize the potential of the Mercedes-AMG GT3, finishing in the top-three on several occasions including two outright GT3 victories in Sepang and Suzuka. THREE FERRARIS TARGET BLANCPAIN GT WORLD CHALLENGE ASIA PODIUM AT FUJI

The impressive Fuji International Speedway hosts the second consecutive Japanese round of the Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia, where 31 cars will compete on the circuit that stands on the slopes of the most famous volcano in the Land of the Rising Sun. Three Ferrari 488 GT3s will take part, entered by HubAuto Corsa, T2 Motorsports and CarGuy Racing.

THE LATEST SUZUKA 10 HOURS ENTRY LIST NOW FEATURES 40 CARS

The provisional entry for August’s Suzuka 10 Hours now stands at 40 thanks to the addition of five new cars, while the number of Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli-nominated entries has also increased to 25.
