PORTUGUESE DRIVERS SHINE IN GT4 SOUTH EUROPEAN SERIES IN BARCELONA
Miguel Cristóvão and Francisco Abreu won the opening race of the GT4 South European Series’ Round 5 held at the Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya, Spain. Gabriele Correia / Francisco Carvalho (AM Cup class) and Marmaduke Hall / Edward Moore (GTC) also claimed class wins today.

The Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo (#77, Adrian Amstutz / Leonid Machitski / Patrick Kujala / Dennis Lind) has taken pole position for the 2019 Hankook 24H BARCELONA. Dennis Lind lapped the 4.655km Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in 1m 46.577s to secure not only the team’s first pole position in the 24H SERIES powered by Hankook this season, but also the first overall top spot for a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 since the season-opening Hankook 24H DUBAI.
PORSCHE GB JUNIOR HARPER TOPS CARRERA CUP GB SILVERSTONE PRACTICE
18-year-old Porsche GB 2018 / 2019 Junior Dan Harper (JTR) led both Friday Free Practice Sessions at Silverstone as the Porsche Carrera Cup GB kick-started its blue riband weekend in support of the 2019 / 2020 World Endurance Championship (WEC). Both morning and afternoon sessions featured a close battle between Porsche GB Junior Harper and 2014 Porsche Carrera Cup GB champion Josh Webster (Team Parker Racing) – in the afternoon session the pair were separated by just 0.057 seconds around the full 3.6-mile Grand Prix circuit. Championship title challenger Lewis Plato (Motorbase Performance) finished both sessions in P3.
