Audi Sport customer teams are set to contest the sixth and final stop of the 2019 Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia with three strong Audi R8 LMS driver-line ups. The mix of local and international talent enters the season-closing double-header hoping to make their wealth of experience at the Shanghai International Circuit count.

As the Blancpain GT Series prepares to conclude its 2019 season with a three-hour Endurance Cup race at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, there is one question on everybody’s lips: who will leave the Spanish venue with a championship to their name?

Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport take home 22 points from a tough weekend in Singapore

After four hours of wheel to wheel combat, it came down to the very last lap of the penultimate round of the European Le Mans Series at Spa Francorchamps. Leading with a margin of two seconds across the line with a lap to run, Tony Wells found himself at the mercy of lapped traffic mid-lap and with it lost momentum was powerless to defend his position.

With the Trofeo Pirelli and Coppa Shell championship titles claimed by Jamie Clarke and Toby Flannagan, the successful first season for the Ferrari Challenge UK has drawn to a close. The final act of the British national series, held at Silverstone, went right down to the wire and had lots of twist and turn.

Five competitions, eleven races and 14 title outcomes still to be decided – the grand finale of the ADAC GT Masters and its four support series at the Sachsenring (27 to 29 September) promises to be a pulsating affair. In the ADAC GT Masters itself, the drivers’ championship was already wrapped up at the previous event. The two races in Saxony will now settle the matter of which is the best team and who is the top Junior contestant in the ADAC GT Masters. The new drivers’ champions Patric Niederhauser (27, CH) and Kelvin van der Linde (23, ZA, both HCB-Rutronik Racing) will not be basking in the glory just yet, as their Audi outfit is still battling for the team crown. The Pirelli Junior class is also still being fiercely contested between eleven drivers, and no wonder: for the Junior champions in the past three years, this particular title has been the springboard to a works contract.
