Unlucky race for the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 of Scuderia Praha which ran into several problems in the 24 Hours of Barcelona held on the Montemelò track. However, its pace was again impressive and this gives hope for the last race of the season, the 12 Hours of Brno.
Blistering pace. The 458 Italia of the Czech team, entrusted to Jiri Pisarik, Jaromir Jirik, Matteo Malucelli, and Peter Kox, was the fastest car on the track: with Kox at the wheel, it recorded the fastest lap of the race. However, several mishaps combined to deny it the podium and to limit it to a fourth place in the class and a 14th place overall.
The winner. The overall win, as well as that in the class, went to the Mercedes of HP Racing driven by Schneider-Proczyk-Renger- Johnston-Kofl. As mentioned, the next event, the 12 Hours of Brno, a home race for Scuderia Praha, is scheduled for 9 and 10 October.
