The 2021 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA) will hold an invitational round at Macau’s legendary Guia Circuit on 19-21 November for the Macau GP. The non-championship event will be the series’ first visit to Macau since 2013, with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) set to make its maiden appearance on the world-famous street circuit.

Mercedes-AMG Team GruppeM Racing’s Raffaele Marciello claimed victory in the prestigious FIA GT World Cup at the Macau Grand Prix, after fending off Porsche duo Laurens Vanthoor and Earl Bamber for the entire race.

Polesitter Raffaele Marciello managed to keep fellow front-row starter Dries Vanthoor at bay once the race got underway, with the latter having to attack and defend in equal measure, with third-placed Earl Bamber running a close third.

As the most successful manufacturer to date, Audi is aiming to score its fifth win of the GT race in Macau within the FIA GT World Cup. At the same time, the brand will be on the grid in three other competitions, including the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup, to be held in the Chinese Special Administration Region from November 14 to 17.

Mercedes-AMG Motorsport celebrated a double podium in the FIA GT World Cup which took place within the framework of the Macau Grand Prix weekend. The number 888 Mercedes-AMG GT3 driven by Maro Engel (GER) finished second ahead of last year’s winner Edoardo Mortara (SUI) in P3 in a hotly contested GT3 race. Mercedes-AMG Motorsport drivers have now featured on the podium of the prestigious race in Macau for the fifth year in succession.

There will be four Porsche 911 GT3 R at the starting line of the FIA GT World Cup in Macau (China) from 15 to 18 November. The Manthey-Racing team will be using two of the vehicles – each with around 500 hp – driven by Earl Bamber (New Zealand) and Laurens Vanthoor (Belgium). Two-time Le Mans winner Bamber will be joining the race in a car that has been given a particularly special look: an eye-catching red and gold design that’s inspired by the Chinese year of the dog. Two more cars will be prepared by customer team Craft Bamboo Racing, for Porsche Young Professional Mathieu Jaminet (France) and Chinese local hero Darryl O’Young.
