K-PAX Racing endured a challenging Indianapolis 8 Hour Saturday to conclude its 2022 season. But even through adversity, the team still managed to finalize its second-consecutive full sweep of the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS Championship. In its third event appearance, which is shared with the Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli sister series, the team battled to a Top-10 class finish.

The 2022 season for the Fanatc GT World Challenge America powered by AWS came to a close this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The three-wide battle for the championship title in the Pro/Am class concluded with Wright Motorsports finishing the endeavour in second place, narrowly missing the top honours by one position.

Mercedes-AMG starts this year’s Indianapolis 8 Hour Presented by AWS from prime position after Winward Racing’s Jules Gounon beat the Conquest Ferrari of Alessandro Balzan to Pole Shootout’s fastest time by just 0.052s.

14 Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli entries are set to contest the Indianapolis 8 Hour Presented by AWS this weekend when SRO Motorsports Group’s globe-trotting GT3 series joins Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS at the Brickyard.

K-PAX Racing proudly announced Friday its 2022 Indianapolis 8 Hour line-up. The team, after clinching the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS Championship early in the penultimate rounds of the season at Sebring International Raceway, will stage its regular two-car Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO effort at the famous Brickyard with an expanded driver line-up to meet the requirements of the endurance race format.

Taylor Hagler closed the 2021 Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS (GTWCA) season with a double podium result in the Indianapolis 8 Hour Presented by AWS on Sunday. 

Ferrari will lead the field to the green flag at tomorrow’s Indianapolis 8 Hour Presented by AWS after Alessandro Pier Guidi gave AF Corse pole position at the Brickyard.

The final stop on the 2021 SRO schedule brings Taylor Hagler to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) for the Indianapolis 8 Hour presented by AWS. Hagler returns to TC America competition in addition to her Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS duty. 

The season finale of the Fanatec GT World Challenge America presented by aws takes place October 15 – 17 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Wright Motorsports has completed its driver lineup for the eight-hour endurance event. Fred Poordad and Jan Heylen, the 2021 Pro/Am Driver Champions, will be joined by 2020 Champion Max Root for the SRO Indianapolis 8 Hour in the No. 20 Porsche 911 GT3 R.

The provisional entry list for the inaugural Indianapolis 8 Hour has been revealed one month before the world-famous Brickyard welcomes Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli for the very first time on October 2-4.

K-PAX Racing will not have to look far to continue its season centered around endurance racing, setting its sights Midwest to “The Racing Capital of the World” for the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) Indianapolis 8 Hour October 2-4 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The team will enter one Bentley-Works driver line-up for its fourth IGTC appearance in the last five seasons.
