PAUL MILLER RACING CARRIES MOMENTUM TO SEBRING INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

The second round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship takes place this weekend at Sebring International Raceway, and Paul Miller Racing is bringing with them the momentum of a podium finish at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. NIELSEN DETERMINED TO CONTINUE PATTERN OF SUCCESS AT THE 12 HOURS OF SEBRING

The Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring is one of Christina Nielsen’s most prolific IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship races of the Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup season. From March 14 to 17, she’ll race the 66th annual endurance event with a Wright Motorsports-prepared Porsche. The Ohio-based team will support Nielsen and co-drivers Patrick Long, Mathieu Jaminet and Robert Renauer in the No. 58 911 GT3 R at this famously treacherous track for the race in Sebring, Florida. This is the second round of a dozen events in the IMSA series in which Nielsen is defending her two-time GTD-class championship.

FORD CHIP GANASSI RACING HUNGRY FOR WIN AT 12 HOURS OF SEBRING

While it was the No. 66 Ford GT team of Joey Hand, Dirk Müller and Sébastien Bourdais who went down in history for winning the GTE Pro title at the Le Mans 24 Hours, it was the No. 67 team who drove to a commanding first-ever win for the new Ford GT at Laguna Seca, then made it three IMSA wins in a row at Watkins Glen and Mosport. It seemed as if Westbrook, Briscoe and strategy chief Brad Goldberg had the golden playbook.

MAZDA TEAM JOEST LOOKS TOWARD SEBRING

With a new team running the program, a radically changed Mazda RT-24P and a new driver lineup, hopes for Mazda Team Joest were high for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the first round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Things unfortunately didn’t go as planned, but the team has regrouped, continued testing and expects to be ready for the 12 Hours of Sebring on March 17.
