After a seven year hiatus from competition at Utah Motorsport Campus, Flying Lizard Motorsports returned in victory earning a win and a third place finish in the Pirelli World Challenge GTS double header event.

Veteran Ian James made it two-for-two for Team Panoz Racing Sunday at Road America when the Arizona driver captured his second straight GTS 50-minute sprint race win in the Pirelli World Challenge Grand Prix presented by VP Racing Fuels.

Rodrigo Baptista took advantage of lapped traffic to take the lead heading up the hill at Lime Rock Park and went on to take the GTS race victory by a slim margin of .178 seconds, driving Flying Lizard Motorsports Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR in Pirelli World Challenge competition. It was Flying Lizard Motorsports’ first PWC victory.
The Long/Lieb duo was the fourth different team to win in SprintX this year with the Ferrari (Mancinelli/Montermini), Mercedes (Morad/Dalziel) and Cadillac (Cooper/ J. Taylor) earlier standing on the victory podium.
