This weekend will be the fourth and final race in Europe on the famous German circuit of Nürburgring before moving on to America and Asia for the rest of the World Endurance Championship.
Oreca 07s 13 and 31 will take part in the game more than ever with redesigned teams. As a reminder, Nicolas Prost and Nelson Piquet Jr will drive this weekend for the New-York City meeting in Formula E. Filipe Albuquerque and Pipo Derani will be competing instead of them during the race.
The Portuguese driver Filipe Albuquerque will take his place in the number 31 and the Brazilian driver Pipo Derani will drive the Oreca number 13.
The two new trios of drivers will compete for the first positions with the leading cars and try to win as many points as they can for the FIA WEC classification.
Currently second in the general classification, #31 will have to reinforce its position and get closer to the leader, Jackie Chan DC Racing #38. #13, ninth in the championship, will fight to go up a few positions.
