Jason Bell and M1 GT Racing started their 2018 season in the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) program at the Streets of St. Petersburg two weekends ago. Standing on the podium in his first event behind the wheel of the sleek-looking Audi R8 LMS GT4, Bell is determined to improve to the top step of the podium this coming weekend at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
“I am excited that we got to kick off the 2018 season successfully,” explained Bell. “Now, with a race weekend under our belt and a couple extra days of testing, I feel more prepared for this coming weekend. We had good success in 2017 at COTA and I am confident that the M1 GT Racing boys will give me a great car this coming weekend.”
Taking advantage of a weekend off, Bell was able to get back behind the wheel of his Audi and complete a few extra laps of testing as he and M1 GT continue to learn their new GT4 machine. Making an early trip to the Circuit of the Americas, the Florida resident got up to speed quickly in the Lone Star State.
Bell continued, “I want to thank M1 GT Racing for all of their hard work and support throughout the weekend. I would also like to thank Audi for all of their assistance and advice both on and off the track. I am in good hands and am ready to compete in the next rounds in Austin, Texas.”
Jason Bell is very appreciative of the support that he continues to receive. A special thanks to Continental Benefits, Osteria, Frost NYC, Gridsport, Reeves Motorsports, Audi of Tampa and M1 GT Racing.
