After the summer break, the European Le Mans Series commitments of Cetilar Villorba Corse will start again from the Paul Ricard circuit with the fourth round of the season to be held from August 25 to 27:
The 4 Hours of Le Castellet. It represents a new and crucial event for the Italian team led by Raimondo Amadio that will line up Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Andrea Belicchi on the Dallara P217 in the LMP2 class. The three were among the protagonists at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, when Cetilar Villorba Corse clinched a stunning ninth place overall during their first participation,, but then, when they got back in ELMS, the crew was accidentally forced to retire while they were fighting for a podium position at the 4 Hours of the Red Bull Ring. Thirty-five cars will compete in Le Castellet: on Sunday, August 27, the race will start at 12:00 CET
Team Principal Amadio says: “We are back at Paul Ricard where we already tested this year and where in the past we were always competitive. We aim to a positive racing weekend and to confirm our increasing improvements that have been involving all the team since the beginning of the season. We know it is a demanding challenge but, since everything was solved on the Dallara after the Red Bull Ring round, we are ready to fight again”.
