As Paul Miller Racing continues to hold the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship points lead with just two races remaining, the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 sports car team has signed Corey Lewis to return for the season finale event, the 21st Annual Motul Petit Le Mans. Paul Miller Racing took the IMSA GTD points championship lead in round two when drivers Bryan Sellers, Madison Snow, and endurance addition Corey Lewis drove the No. 48  to victory at the legendary Twelve Hours of Sebring.

Snow and Lewis also race together in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series, and currently hold second place in the point standings, having earned two wins and five additional podiums.

“Corey is a top flight driver and is staying sharp, racing with Madison Snow in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series,” said Team Owner Paul Miller. “He did a great job helping us earn our win at Sebring and is a great team player, so we’re excited to have him back!”

Following the monumental win at the Twelve Hours of Sebring, Paul Miller Racing continued to put on a commanding performance at each event, earning a total of seven podium finishes in nine races. The points battle remains tight for the 2014 Petit Le Mans winners, but with two races remaining, every preparation is being made for the final stretch.

“I’m beyond happy to be returning to Paul Miller Racing for the series finale, Petit Le Mans,” said Lewis. “I look forward to teaming up with Bryan and Madison with the hopes of helping them win the series championship and end up right were we all left off, in victory lane!”

Petit Le Mans marks the closing of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, as well as the Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup; the four race endurance series within the existing championship. The ten hour endurance event requires every team to add to their driver lineups, further enhancing the level of strategy for the season finale event.

“It’s great to have Corey returning for Petit Le Mans,” said Sellers. “He was such a huge asset for us to have as a part of our program in Sebring. Being a third driver is a very difficult role to be placed into, however Corey embraced it and was exactly what we needed. We are very excited to have him back as a part of PMR. Madison, Corey, and myself all have a great relationship and I hope we will be able to use that as we move forward towards the race!”

“I’m glad to have Corey back with us for Petit,” echoed Snow. “You can never go into a race expecting to win, but knowing it’s readily achievable and with two of your good friends increases the chances of another victory! I’m also very happy to have this deal sealed pretty early so we don’t have to stress about that in the weeks leading up to the race.”

The 21st Annual Motul Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta will air live on FS1 beginning at 10:20AM US Eastern. International audiences can stream the race live in its entirety on imsa.tv.
