MARANELLO KART AT THE MARGUTTI TROPHY WITH DANTE AND MOSCA. CAVALIERI TO DEBUT WITH MARANELLO COLORS.

Massimo Dante and Tommaso Mosca will be at the start of the Andrea Margutti Trophy with the works team SG Race and TM engines by Rizzi. Alberto Cavalieri will also be on track for his debut on Maranello chassis with Modena official engine by Officina del Kart.

Maranello Kart is about to get on track this coming weekend in Lonato with the works team for the much awaited 27th Andrea Margutti Trophy. The two drivers Massimo Dante and Tommaso Mosca will compete in KZ2, in an event that announces to be among the most interesting and competitive of this early season.

This is going to be an important appointment for Maranello Kart that is all set to start its KZ2 season – a category in which the Italian company has always achieved important results – from the South Garda Karting track of Lonato with both its most competitive drivers and with the support of SG Race led by Stefano Griggio and of Rizzi regarding TM engines. An interesting technical challenge awaits the team also this year at the Andrea Margutti Trophy, that will see 50 of the most competitive drivers on the KZ2 international scene challenging each other.

Massimo Dante obtained a great second place last year at the Andrea Margutti Trophy, after being among the quickest throughout the weekend, together withTommaso Mosca who was close to the pole position before taking P6 in Prefinal and the 14th place in the Final.

Among the most awaited protagonists of the forthcoming Andrea Margutti Trophy, the young and very competitive Alberto Cavalieri will get on track on Maranello chassis pushed by the official Modena engine of SRP with the support of Racing Team Officina del Kart that will be making its debut in international competitions. Cavalieri, third last year at the KZ2 World Championship in Le Mans, will be another protagonist of the most important events of the season with Maranello colors.

The programme of the 27th Andrea Margutti Trophy will kick off with free practice on Thursday 10 March. Free practice sessions will continue on Friday, while qualifying will follow at 10.00hrs on Saturday 12 March and heats will start at 12.20hrs. KZ2 Prefinal will get green lights on Sunday at 14.20hrs, while the KZ2 Final is scheduled for 16.25hrs.
