RACE TECH DEVELOPMENT MEDIA AND MANAGEMENT SET FOR FUTURE GROWTH
Race Tech Development (RTD) Group, owner of RTD Autosport, is pleased to announce RTD Media and Management (RTDMM), another venture utilizing the Race Tech Development brand. With the goal to help a select few drivers move from karting to cars, RTD Media and Management will provide liaison and management services for drivers looking to make the move into higher levels of motorsports.
“I am working hard to make sure that we have a one stop shop for everything,” explained Race Tech Development Group Owner Mike Maurini. “With press releases, website and ad design as well as logo creation and social media programs being completed through RTD Media, the RTD Management side of the business will provide management services for the future stars of the world of motorsports.”
Several of the drivers looking to make the move get lost in the transition from karts to cars and that is where RTD Management will look to assist in the efforts of these drivers. From media releases to initial contact with race teams and potential partners, RTD Management will assist in these efforts and help future stars make the right moves and proper transition from the karting ranks.
Maurini continued, “I am interested in assisting a select few drivers who have the goal of making it to the top. There are a few perfect candidates for the RTD Management program based on speed, determination and marketability.”
As an entrepreneur in the motorsports community Mike Maurini began his dream of business ownership back in 2004. Transitioning and growing for the next several years, Race Tech Development Group was born in 2007 and has been a catchall business for driver development and mechanic services in karting for several years. Utilizing his Business Marketing education, Race Tech Development quickly began to grow to provide media services for several teams and drivers in all forms of motorsports. Most recently, RTD Autosport was formed under the Race Tech Development Group banner and will enter the 2016 Red Bull Global Rallycross Lites division in conjunction with SH Rallycross. Maurini also owns and operates Team Koene USA, an elite level karting program in North America.
“Of course this would not be possible without all the support that I have received from a few people,” added Maurini. “Chris Wheeler has joined Race Tech Development and Team Koene USA on a full-time basis and has been instrumental in his assistance. My wife Elena has been there since day one and has had my back in each and every business decision I have made and is a big help as we continue to grow. Martijn Koene provides a solid foundation for Team Koene USA and has assisted with the growth and development here in the USA all while living in Europe. Without these people and others, none of this would have been possible.”
