INDYCAR Fast Six: What’s trending in @IndyCar
INDYCAR’s #FastSix is a report that borrows from all things found online about Verizon IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We find pics, quips and the occasional GIF as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence on Twitter, Instagram and more. Check back regularly for the latest.
Not your typical yellow flag
We wouldn’t believe it either, but there was an unusual reason for a full-course caution flag during Sonoma Raceway testing this week for a specific kind of track clean-up. Let’s put it this way, it wasn’t for a car dropping oil.
Well this might be a first. We are on a #IndyCar hold @RaceSonoma for sheep sh*t. The local sheep that are used to trim the brush around the circuit left a lot of the byproduct on the track, which is being hosed and brushed away… pic.twitter.com/fCEM8ISF8O

Long and short of it
This side-by-side comparison of Andretti Autosport teammates Zach Veach and Stefan Wilson needs little description. Enjoy.
Getting ready for @IndyCar media Day this week. Just in case y’all were wondering the size difference between me & @ZachVeach… So, am I tall? Or is Zach short? 😂 pic.twitter.com/LGytBDown1

A Super Sunday
Alexander Rossi had himself a blast Sunday at Super Bowl LII in Minneapoli,s and there was plenty proof on his social media accounts. Of course, his team didn’t come away with the Lombardi Trophy, but it’s safe to say it was a Super Sunday for Rossi.
DWTS reunion
James Hinchcliffe met up with former “Dancing with the Stars” partner Sharna Burgess when she was in Indianapolis for the show’s national tour. It sounds like the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports driver still has his dancing frame in shape. Good on you, Hinch.
TK approved
Now, we’re on to the new car section of this week’s Fast Six, where you’ll notice a trend. The drivers LOVE the look of their new rides. Who can blame them?
The champion’s beast
We got our first look at the “beast” that Josef Newgarden drive this season during the Sonoma Raceway test. The familiar colors looked great from every angle. Who else can’t wait to see this thing on track?!
