INDYCAR’s #FastSix is a report that borrows from all things found online about Verizon IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We find pics, quips and the occasional GIF as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence on Twitter, Instagram and more. Check back regularly for the latest.
Marco and Oliver
On race week at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Marco Andretti took Oliver Wheldon, son of the late Dan Wheldon, on this fun scooter tour at the track.
They’re baaack!
The Penske Games have returned and the IndyCar guys delivered the entertainment in the first full episode! Watch as the Team Penske drivers try to play a game of telephone.

Coming to a TV near you
Don’t be surprised if you see James Hinchcliffe popping up on your TV when it’s not a race weekend. Honda recently rolled out a series of commercials featuring the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports driver. In one of these 30-second spots, the 2018 No. 5 Arrow Electronics Honda even makes a cameo appearance. Be on the lookout!
An INDYCAR super fan gets a super suprise
While Alexander Rossi and the Borg-Warner Trophy were down in Orlando for an appearance, we got wind of a die-hard fan who would do nearly anything (including risking her job) to see the most coveted prize in open-wheel racing. This video on Rossi’s Twitter perfectly captures what happened next.
Fan surprises never disappoint. 💯 we found @YourRacingBelle and she got to see her hero tonight. And it totally wasn’t me. 😂 @BorgWarner @IndyCar @IMS @IMSMuseum pic.twitter.com/LuD7vh53Dx

#DEFENDTHE1
Josef Newgarden has one goal in mind this year, defending his championship. By the looks of it, he means business.

Arie Jr.’s date at the track
After the dramatic season finale of “The Bachelor,” Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his new fiancée Lauren Burnham made it to the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg for rides in the two-seater and to take in the first race of the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series season together.
Great day back at the track with my fiancé! My @IndyCar family approves, feeling the love. pic.twitter.com/uP3AIEKqEK
