The first day of test session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya saw Antonio Giovinazzi in the cockpit of the C37 for the first time this season. The Italian completed a total of 135 laps throughout the day. He did a very good job and was up to speed after just a few runs. The team completed the full programme consisting of mechanical set-up work, testing of new aerodynamic parts, as well as runs on various tyre compounds with back to back tests. The collected data will now be analysed, and the team will prepare the programme for the second day of testing tomorrow.
