After claiming pole position yesterday during qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton won today’s race under the lights in Singapore.
The four time world champion had a quiet race in Singapore, after holding on to his first place at the start of the race, Hamilton managed to control the race upfront and extend his lead up to 40 points in the drivers standings.
Max Verstappen lost his second position to Sebastian Vettel at the beginning of the race, but after making his pit stop, the young Red Bull driver jumped in front of Vettel and finished the race in second place.
Sebastian Vettel finished in third place, Vettel and Ferrari will have to work extra hard if they want to have a shot at winning both the constructors and drivers championship this season.
