LOUDON, N.H. – It’s only appropriate that Canadian based NASCAR Pinty’s Series’ very first visit to the United States will be sponsored by the New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development. The Sept. 22 race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway will be named the Visit New Hampshire 100 and will kick off the tripleheader Saturday during the inaugural Full Throttle Fall Weekend.
“We love to showcase all that the Granite State has to offer during our race weekends, and what better way to do so than with the Visit New Hampshire 100,” said David McGrath, executive vice president and general manager of New Hampshire Motor Speedway. “We are thankful to continue our partnerships with the New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism and we can’t wait to put on a great show for short track fans in the region.”
The Division of Travel and Tourism Development, as part of the New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs, works with the state’s seven travel regions to increase visitation, travel and visitor expenditures in order to expand business activity and employment throughout the state. The division is responsible for domestic and international advertising and public relations, literature publications and distribution, www.VisitNH.gov administration, grant administration and research to monitor and measure the impact of travel and tourism to the state.
“We look forward to welcoming Canadian race fans to our beautiful state during one of our most picturesque seasons,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “After the checkered flag waves, I encourage visitors to enjoy all New Hampshire has to offer. From the noble mountains in the North Country, to our beautiful lakes and rivers to the rocky shores and sandy beaches of the Seacoast and all of our vibrant cities and small-town main streets in between, there is always something to enjoy here in the Granite State.”
In previous years, Visit New Hampshire sponsored the New Hampshire Motor Speedway show car, which is a replica Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series stock car, which traveled to various events throughout New England.
The NASCAR Pinty’s Series Visit New Hampshire 100 will kick off a day full of racing that’s never been seen before. The NASCAR Pinty’s Series will be racing for the first time outside of Canada. This race will be part of a triple header Saturday that will include a global NASCAR K&N Pro Series East championship points race, the Apple Barrel 125, followed by the longest mileage and richest purse race in NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour series history – the Musket 250.
One $35 (in advance) adult general admission ticket will provide access for the entire day, and kids 12 and under are only $10. All tickets include access to the infield, and Pit Passes will allow garage access.
