Maranello Kart has displayed great performances at the 44th Trofeo delle Industrie held in Lonato. Mosca has been among the absolute quickest of the 62 drivers in KZ2. Great competitiveness also for Dante, Bernardotto, Giannoni and Bianchi.
Maranello Kart has once again produced spectacle at the South Garda Karting circuit of Lonato (Brescia, Italy), with its drivers fighting for the victory until the final stages of the 44th edition of the Trofeo delle Industrie, event that saw 62 drivers of international level competing in KZ2.

A “Super” Tommaso Mosca has been shining since the beginning on Maranello-Tm, as he set the second quickest time in qualifying posting a 41.262s that was just 20 thousands of a second shy of the pole position. A great protagonist of the circuit of Lonato of the likes of Massimo Dante, also confirmed his speed with the fifth time of his Group in 41.443s, leading Enrico Bernardotto, on Maranello-Modena who completed his best loop in 41.447s. Lorenzo Giannoni on Maranello-Modena has also been very strong in qualifying obtaining the fifth time of his Group in 41.737s. The young Italo-Swiss Giacomo Bianchi Maranello-Modena had a good qualifying ending 15th of his Group in 41.917s.

All Maranello Kart qualified in the top half of the grid, challenged their rivals in qualifying heats and, despite some hiccups in the races, all gained access to the final stages.Enrico Bernardotto was hit by an incident in the final qualifying heat and was pushed down to the 24th place of the classification. Tommaso Mosca was again on the limelight after the heats as he was absolute third thanks to two wins and a third place, whileMassimo Dante was eighth, Lorenzo Giannoni 20th, and Giacomo Bianchi 27th.
The Prefinal has seen Mosca again among the protagonists pulling a great P3 at the flag, while Dante scored a promising ninth place. The other Maranello’s color bearers were a bit lower down the field as Bianchi was 21st, Bernardotto 24th due to a 10 seconds time penalty, while Giannoni was forced to an early retirement.

The Final unfortunately did not see all the potential shown by Maranello Kart’s drivers getting concrete due to a series of inconveniences. Tommaso Mosca was slowed down right after the start and eventually forced to the retirement due to a technical problem;Lorenzo Giannoni experienced a similar fate and had to retire one lap early. Massimo Dante managed to keep the race pace of the front runners in the Final that was eventually won by Simo Puhakka, but the Italian could not gain any positions closing 13thand leading Enrico Bernardotto, who had recovered a good ten positions instead.Giacomo Bianchi closed his effort in P22.

At the end of a season full of satisfaction due to the competitiveness displayed on all circuits, Maranello Kart is optimist for the future and will shortly announce its 2016 squad.

Meanwhile, Maranello Kart is also ready to be protagonist again in Las Vegas where Elvis Stojko and Robert Wickens will get on track in Rotax on the new DD2 chassis with the support of Alessandro Levratti and of the Canadian Racing Team Prime Motorsport run by the importer Trevor Wickens.
