BN RACING CLAIMS TWO VICTORIES AND FIVE PODIUMS AT ROAD AMERICA

Scoring their first career Mazda Road to Indy victory, Chicago, Illinois based BN Racing had a weekend to remember at Road America. With four drivers across two of the MRTI divisions, BN Racing scored not only their first career victory, but also their second as David Malukas had a dominating weekend in the Pro Mazda Presented by Cooper Tires Championship. BN Racing led the charge on both days of competition as UK pilot Toby Sowery made it a 1 – 2 finish chasing Malukas to the checkered flag in both races.

FERRARI BOLSTERS RANKS FOR SIX HOURS OF THE GLEN

Three Ferrari 488 GT3 entries will take to Watkins Glen International for the traditional Six Hour this weekend. In addition to the No. 63 and No. 64 entries from Scuderia Corsa, 24 Hours of Daytona winner Ozz Negri will race a Ferrari for the first time in 16 years in this weekend’s Sahlen’s Six Hours race. The Brazilian will join Squadra Corse Garage Italia for their first IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race.

RIGON RACING WITH HUBAUTO CORSA AT SUZUKA

A season-high 31 supercars travel to Suzuka this weekend for the first leg of Blancpain GT Series Asia’s Japanese double header. Suzuka’s iconic 5.807km, 18-turn figure-of-eight circuit remains one of motorsport’s greatest challenges, as well as a bucket list destination for any driver. Two 60-minute sprint races will provide a stern test for Blancpain GT Series Asia’s teams before the championship completes its mid-season Japanese adventure in Fuji three weeks later.

SPIRIT OF DAYTONA RACING READY FOR WATKINS GLEN

Spirit of Daytona Racing will be back in IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship action this weekend as the team looks to return to victory lane at Watkins Glen International. The Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen (FS1 live broadcast starting at 9:30 AM ET) marks the midway point of the 2018 IMSA season as well as the third round of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup.

CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE CONTINENTS CONTINUES WITH THE 24H PORTIMA

Launched last year to great acclaim, the Hankook 24H PORTIMAO is again on the calendar for the 24H GT SERIES and the 24H TCE SERIES, both powered by Hankook. From 6-8 July, the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, beautifully located in the rolling hills of the Portuguese Algarve region and conveniently close to the Atlantic coast, will be hosting the second running of the Hankook 24H PORTIMAO. Currently, the entry list includes almost 40 cars, with 22 entries in the GT class and 15 teams in the TCE division. Following the successful debut in the previous round at Imola, there will be separate starting groups with separate pole positions for the GTs and touring cars again.

STARS AND STRIPES FOR WHELEN ENGINEERING RACING AHEAD OF WATKINS GLEN

The No. 31 Whelen Engineering Racing DPi-V.R will carry a new and unique look tied to the 4th of July celebrations as the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is set to stage a pair of back to back events, starting with the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen this Sunday. The Watkins Glen International race will be quickly followed by a trip north of the border for the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park round of IMSA WeatherTech action on July 8th.

CORVETTE RACING AT WATKINS GLEN: BACK ON FAMILIAR GROUND

Following another appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Corvette Racing is back on American soil as it returns to competition in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship this weekend at Watkins Glen International. The classic 3.4-mile, 11-turn road course in the Finger Lakes region of New York is a fitting stop for Corvette Racing, which is celebrating its 20th season of competition.

ESM NISSAN DPis SEEK TO CONQUER UNFINISHED BUSINESS AT WAKTINS GLEN

As the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship reaches the halfway point in the 2018 season, the Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup resumes this weekend at Watkins Glen International. The Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen is the third race in the four races that make up the TPNAEC, an endurance championship within the existing calendar. While a win at Watkins Glen International has eluded Tequila Patrón ESM, the prototype team has dominated qualifying the last two years, earning pole positions in 2016 and 2017.

BLANCPAIN GT SERIES WEEKEND ROUND UP: MISANO

Following back-to-back Endurance events, the Blancpain GT Series returned to Sprint Cup competition last weekend with a pair of 60-minute contests at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The #1 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT machine emerged victorious from both outings, though not before seeing off a severe challenge from AKKA ASP Team.
