VISSER AND MENZEL LEAD RN VISION STS GT4 EUROPEAN SERIES 1-2 IN BUDAPEST
Beitske Visser and Nico Menzel took their victory in the 2018 GT4 European Series at the Hungaroring today. They beat teammates Gabriele Piana and Razvan Umbrarescu in an RN Vision STS 1-2 finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix circuit. Victory in the Pro-Am class went to Racing One’s Jules Szymkowiak and Markus Lungstrass again, with Allied-Racing’s Nicolas Schöll also claiming his second win of the weekend in the Am class.

MDM MOTORSPORT WINS RAIN-DRENCHED OPENING GT4 EUROPEAN SERIES BUDAPEST RACE
MDM Motorsport drivers Max Koebolt and Simon Knap won the first GT4 European Series race at the Hungaroring after heading the field home in a shortened rain-affected race. A heavy rain shower during the pit window resulted in different strategies and MDM Motorsport’s gamble to stay out on slicks eventually paid off when the race was stopped due to the dangerous conditions.
