ABSOLUTE RACING TAKES BLANCPAIN GT SERIES ASIA OVERALL PODIUM AND PRO-AM CLASS WIN AT NINGBO

Martin Rump and Cheng Congfu finished second in the penultimate race of the Blancpain GT Series Asia season in Ningbo, China. The Absolute Racing duo were impressive to secure their third podium of the season and move up to third in the Silver Cup. Teammates Adderly Fong and Andrew Kim secured their maiden Pro/Am victory of the season in round 11, crossing the line fourth overall from a starting position of 12th after a strong performance from both drivers.

BEST PORSCHE 911 RSR ON FUJI FOURTH GRID ROW, POLE POSITION IN THE GTE-AM CLASS

The Porsche GT Team qualified on starting positions eight and ten for the FIA WEC World Sports Car Championship in Fuji, Japan. Richard Lietz (A) and Gianmaria Bruni (I) in the No. 91 Porsche 911 RSR and Kevin Estre (F) and Michael Christensen (DK) in the No. 92 sister car will now focus on the race performance. After setting the fastest lap with the RSR in the GTE-Pro category during the free practice on Saturday morning, the qualifying session held three hours later did not yield the expected lap times.
