TOYOTA GAZOO Racing remained on top in Bahrain when practice for the final race of the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) began under lights.

Four Porsche customers across three classes are set to take on the final round of the inaugural GT Super Sprint Challenge (GTSSC) season this weekend as the bronze driver-focused series travels back to the Shanghai International Circuit.

Adding to the team’s growing resume, Jr III Racing will join the LMP3 entry list for Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta November 10-13th. Ari Balogh, Garett Grist and Spencer Pigot will pilot the No. 30 Airbnb Ligier JS P320 in the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship season finale. 

VS Racing’s Karol Basz and Mattia Michelotto claimed a resounding victory in the season-ending Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals at Misano Adriatico, winning both of the 50-minute races from pole position. The success comes just one week after VS Racing wrapped up the International GT Open championship title, which caps off a sensational season for the team.

A great start to the 2021 Thailand Super Series season with double podiums in both Super Car GT3 races for the B-Quik Absolute Racing Audi R8 GT3 EVOs, the No 1 shared by Sandy Stuvik and Philip Massoud and the No 26 with Daniel Bilski and Martin Rump, a performance capped off by a sensational race victory for the latter car this afternoon.

United Autosports finished fourth at the end of the penultimate round of the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship in Bahrain yesterday.

The 6 Hours of Bahrain, the penultimate round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, ended with third place for the 488 GTE crewed by Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado. The final result was conditioned by the power reduction due to the Balance of Performance announced on the eve of the race. In the LMGTE Am class, no Ferrari crew made the podium for the first time this season.

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing made endurance racing history as the first World Champions of the Hypercar era with a one-two victory in the 6 Hours of Bahrain.

Facing difficult conditions, the Porsche GT Team has achieved its third win of the season in the FIA World Endurance Championship WEC. At the six-hour race in Bahrain, Frenchman Kévin Estre and Neel Jani from Switzerland in the No. 92 Porsche 911 RSR narrowly beat their works driver colleagues Gianmaria Bruni from Italy and Austrian Richard Lietz. Thanks to the one-two result in the Kingdom of Bahrain on the Persian Gulf, Porsche has moved into the lead of the manufacturers’ championship before the final round of the season. In the GTE-Am class, the customer teams Dempsey-Proton Racing and Project 1 claimed podium steps with their ca. 515 PS nine-eleven cars.

Iron Lynx’s 488 GTE, qualified by Rino Mastronardi, took the first pole position for the Italian team in the FIA World Endurance Championship in the LMGTE Am class. The two AF Corse Ferraris in the Pro class will start from row two, with Miguel Molina recording the third-fastest time ahead of Alessandro Pier Guidi.

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo regional championship campaign reached its conclusion at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, with both the Europe and North America titles decided on the final day of the season in Italy. A total of 52 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo cars took to the circuit in the last races before the traditional World Finals begins on Saturday.

Works driver Kévin Estre has planted the No. 92 Porsche 911 RSR on pole position in qualifying for the six-hour race in Bahrain. In the close hunt for top times, the Frenchman only just outpaced his Italian brand colleague Gianmaria Bruni in the identical ca. 515 PS nine-eleven with the starting number 91. For Kévin Estre and Neel Jani, who currently rank second in the FIA World Endurance Championship WEC, this is the fourth pole position from the fifth and penultimate race of the season. In the GTE-Am class, the best 911 RSR takes up the race from third place.

Following a successful debut season, GruppeM Racing confirms that it will return to the DTM in 2022 with an expanded two-car entry.
