The Paul Miller Racing team added another trophy to their trophy cabinet this weekend, scoring a fantastic last-turn, last-lap victory at Lime Rock Park.

PFAFF MOTORSPORTS EARNS OVERALL WIN AT LIME ROCK

Porsche customer team Pfaff Motorsports won overall at Saturday’s Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park. The victory, the fourth for Porsche in the GTD Pro class and sixth total for the 911 GT3 R race car thus far in the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, came in the all-GT car feature event at the Lakeville, Connecticut race track. This is the first overall win for the German sports car manufacturer this year. Pfaff will have its next chance at the overall win when the second of two GT3-spec only races is run at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR), August 25 – 28.

WeatherTech Racing drivers Cooper MacNeil (Hinsdale, Ill) and Jules Gounon (France) finished seventh in GTD at the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park today.

AM DUO MAKE GT WORLD CHALLENGE ASIA HISTORY AT SUZUKA

Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS history was made at Suzuka today when Comet Racing’s Yusuke Yamasaki and Yorikatsu Tsujiko became the first Am crew to win a race outright, while Honda also scored its first-ever series victory.

PAUL MILLER RACING ROLLING OFF SEVENTH AT LIME ROCK

The Paul Miller Racing team will be hoping for some help tomorrow at Lime Rock Park, with the No. 1 Quartz Engine Oil-backed BMW M4 GT3 qualifying seventh.

QUALIFYING WAS NO WALK IN THE PARK AT LIME ROCK FOR BMW M TEAM RLL

Connor De Phillippi qualified the No. 25 BMW M Team RLL BMW M4 GT3 third in the GTD PRO class but following a failure of post-qualifying technical inspection will start at the rear of the 15-car GT class field in tomorrow’s two-hour-and-forty-minute Northeast Grand Prix. De Phillippi posted a 51.227- minute lap around the 1.5-mile, 7-turn Lime Rock Park circuit, only .148 seconds behind the pole-sitting No. 9 Porsche 911 GT3R. The BMW was moved to the rear of the field for failing to meet the minimum ride height. De Phillippi will co-drive with John Edwards tomorrow. The pair stands sixth in GTD PRO class driver point standings with a season’s-best third place finish at Laguna Seca earlier this year.

The Paul Miller Racing team is headed to the shortest circuit on the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship calendar—and the home race for the Paul Miller Auto Group—Lime Rock Park.

AUDI IS AIMING FOR THE FIFTH VICTORY OF THE R8 LMS AT SPA

Audi Sport customer racing wants to continue its winning streak at the 74th edition of the Spa 24 Hours, from July 28 to 31. The goal: The R8 LMS is already aiming for its third overall 24-hour victory this year. In addition, valuable points and decisive championship positions in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS are at stake for drivers and teams in various classes. No less than twelve Audi R8 LMS entries are set to compete in the world’s biggest GT3 race in the Belgian Ardennes.

BMW M TEAM RLL LOOKING FOR A TURN AROUND AT LIME ROCK PARK

BMW M Team RLL will look to change its recent spate of bad luck at this weekend’s FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix, at Lime Rock Park, in Lakeville, Conn. The last two rounds of the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship have seen the No. 25 MOTUL BMW M4 GT3 disqualified from a win at Watkins Glen International and suffer an uncompetitive fifth place finish at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

UNITED CLAIM FIFTH PLACE IN MONZA AFTER UNLUCKY BREAKS ROB THEM OF PODIUMS

United Autosports finished fifth in the 6 Hours of Monza today (10 Jul) – unlucky breaks robbing the US-flagged team’s pair of ORECAs of likely podium finishes. Alex Lynn/Oliver Jarvis/Josh Pierson swept their #23 ORECA from the very back of the field earning United its fifth FIA World Endurance Championship LMP2 top-six result of the season.

DEMPSEY-PROTON RACING WINS THE 6 HOURS OF MONZA GTE-Am CLASS

The Porsche 911 RSR fielded by Dempsey-Proton Racing has won the GTE-Am class at the six-hour race of the FIA WEC in Monza. In the No. 77 car, team owner Christian Ried and the two UK drivers Sebastian Priaulx and Harry Tincknell beat the opposition over the line. In the GTE-Pro class, the two works cars took the flag in positions four and five.

BEST PORSCHE 911 RSR TACKLES MONZA TEMPLE OF SPEED FROM THE SECOND GRID ROW

The best Porsche 911 RSR in the GTE-Pro class tackles the six-hour race in Monza (Italy) from position four. At the wheel of the No. 91 car, local hero Gianmaria Bruni was 0.220-seconds faster than his brand colleague Michael Christensen (Denmark). In the GTE-Am category, Christian Ried planted the No. 77 car fielded by Dempsey-Proton Racing on the third grid spot.
