DS Virgin Racing rounded out their best ever season during today’s final Formula E race in New York City, securing third place in both the teams’ and the drivers’ championship.

Panasonic Jaguar Racing finished their second season in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship with a double points finish reinforcing the team’s development since joining the series.

Season 4 of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship ended with two races in New York City (USA). The MS&AD Andretti Formula E Team narrowly missed out on points in the finale at the Qatar Airways New York City E-Prix. Stéphane Sarrazin (FRA) finished Sunday’s race in twelfth place having finished in the same position on Saturday. BMW works driver António Félix da Costa (POR) crossed the finish line in eleventh and 15th. On Sunday, after a strong pursuit had moved him up into the points, a penalty awarded for causing a collision saw him pushed down the field.

Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler secured the title in the teams’ classification with impressive comeback drives in the season finale. Phoenix Racing Asia scored a podium finish in the five-hour Super Taikyu race at the stunning Autopolis Circuit in Japan. At the half-way point in the season, Mercedes-AMG Motorsport have just secured five out of the six podium finishes possible in the two DTM races at Zandvoort.

Ninth race of season at the Circuit Zandvoort: Four Mercedes-AMG Motorsport DTM drivers in the Top Four

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced today that sports car and open-wheel racing veteran Katherine Legge will drive one of the team’s two Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY series electric racecars during the 2018/2019 ABB FIA Formula E season. An American-themed livery will be unveiled by RLL co-owner Bobby Rahal, Legge and team officials at the New York E-Prix 2017/2018 season-finale this weekend.  

For the 70th running of the Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race, Mercedes-AMG has a presence that is stronger than ever before: the field of 68 cars includes a total of 13 Mercedes-AMG GT3s. Thus, the German performance and sports car brand has the largest entry of all manufacturers. The cars from Affalterbach will be run by five teams with 46 drivers between them to take on the classic endurance race, including some of the highest-ranking names in motorsport. Among the favourites are the four cars of the Mercedes-AMG Performance Teams AKKA ASP, BLACK FALCON, MANN-FILTER (HTP Motorsport) and STRAKKA Racing.
